Osteoporosis is one of the most common diseases among the metabolic bone diseases with renal insufficiency, liver disease, endocrine disease, avitaminosis D and in climacterical period.
Osteoporosis - (Greek "osteo - bone," poros "- a hole, a pore) - the most common of the metabolic bone diseases. The scale of the spread of the disease is to be compared to an epidemic, thus, this disease is ranked fourth in the world after cardiovascular diseases, cancer and diabetes. It is not for nothing called the "mute epidemic" because it does not manifest for a long time, not showing any clinical symptoms. But the increasing bone brittleness leads to bone fractures, even from insignificant falls. Especially vulnerable are the hip bone, forearm, vertebrae.
Cervical hip fractures make patients with osteoporosis invalidated for the rest of their life and frequently lead to death. Epidemiological studies have shown that at present there is no race, country where this disease is absent. Thus, in the U.S., with a population of 240 million people, 20 million women and 5 million men suffer from it. Among the 1.5 million annually registered fractures - 700,000 vertebral fractures, 300,000 - fractures of the distal forearm segment and 250,000 cervical hip fractures and fractures of other localizations. Treatment costs reach 13.8 billion U.S. dollars. Annually, 1 out of 8 people in Europe, older than 50 years, has spine fracture, 1 out of 30 residents - a fracture of the proximal segment of the femur, which is associated with the largest death rates, disability and medical costs than other fractures.
Death rates during the first year after fracture range from 12 to 40%. Particularly high mortality is within the first 6 months after the fracture, and in some Russian cities mortality (death) is 8 times higher than citywide death rates. Half of the patients who survived after a hip fracture, decreased quality of life, 30% of them lose the ability to self-service, need a long-term nursing care. The cost of treatment in medical institutions in Europe (13 countries) ranges from 3 to 15 billion euros per year.
Since in Russia there were no official statistics of the frequency of fractures due to osteoporosis of different localization, State Institute of Rheumatology has developed a program and organized a multicenter study of Epidemiology of osteoporotic fractures in 16 cities (Tula, Tyumen, Khabarovsk, Yaroslavl, Yekaterinburg, Orenburg, Angarsk, etc.) for the period 1992-97.
Total population of the age of 50 years or older made up 1,749,274 people. The frequency of hip fractures was 100.9 per 100 000 population; fractures of the distal forearm segment was 426.2 per 100 000 population. Spinal fractures are one of the most common types of fractures, but to determine the causes of fractures there should be made the mass X-ray examination of the population. So what is osteoporosis? What is so frightening about it, as declared by the World Health Organization (WHO)? Osteoporosis - the disease which is not so dangerous, by its symptomatology, however fraught with very unpleasant consequences. With osteoporosis there is a decrease in bone density and mineral substances, as a result bones become fragile and brittle.
The main reasons for this disease - hormonal disorders and lack of calcium in the body, also heredity and bad habits, smoking and drinking, could also be referred to the reasons. The bone strength laying falls on the age 16-25 years, but the decrease in strength - for the rest of life, with an increasing slope after 50 years old. Women, during the period of the menopause, are liable to osteoporosis, as well as people leading unhealthy lifestyle.
Improperly balanced diet leads to a lack of calcium and vitamin D, responsible for building and preservation of bone tissue. Smoking, alcohol and caffeine make it difficult for calcium to be absorbed by the body. A sedentary lifestyle and low physical activity contributes to both bone fragility and poor coordination, resulting in injuries. With osteoporosis the other regularity works, if we consider overweight as a risk factor for the bone injury. The risk group embraces the women of a delicate constitution with a pale skin and bright eye color. Representatives of the dark race, osteoporosis affects much less due to the greater presence of the sun.
The main thing in prevention and treatment of osteoporosis is a proper diet with sufficient calcium and vitamin D, as well as other enzymes, such as iron, magnesium, copper, phosphorus, vitamins C and K, they help the bone formation.
Here we can just say that synthetic enzymes of biologically active additives (BAA), not only not absorbed by the body, and often are simply harmful. You just need to eat organic food with a high calcareous content:
- Cheese, cottage cheese, milk
- Cabbage, parsley, lettuce
- low-fat beef, lamb
- Fish
- beans, oatmeal, buckwheat
However, calcium is not absorbed by the body without vitamin D, which is contained in fish oils, butter, egg yolk. But the biggest provider - is ultraviolet light and visible spectrum of sunlight. Provitamin D3 is formed under the skin as a result of exposure of ultraviolet light to human skin, and during the subsequent impact of the visible spectrum of light (blue, green, red) molecules photosensitizers of provitamin D3 convert it into vitamin D (cholecalciferol), which is activated at first in the liver and then in the kidneys to form calcitriol.
Calcitriol is the most active metabolite of vitamin D, it increases the efficiency of calcium absorption in the intestine. Blue spectrum of visible light greatly increases the metabolism of a living cell, which, in turn, allows to increase the differentiation of stem cells into osteoplasts, hereupon the inflow of calcium and phosphate in blood from the bone tissue enlarges as well. Hemostasis of calcium and phosphorus is necessary for normal functioning of nerve and muscle tissue as well as maintaining bone density.
Another important requirement is the reasonable physical activities that are necessary in the prevention of disease. Moderate exercise, daily walking, dancing, walking in the forest will significantly reduce the risk of developing the disease.
Particular attention should be paid to drugs for prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, which initially have a negative impact on the human body, for example:
Salmon calcitonin - nausea, dermatitis, allergic reaction, anaphylactic shock;
Estradiol - bleeding from the genital tract;
Alendronate sodium - nausea, gastritis, diarrhea, irritation of the stomach;
Pamidronate sodium - arthralgia, fever, flu-like syndrome.
The team of the Science and Research Development Company AVERS has designed and certified the medical products, intended for the prevention and treatment of metabolic bone diseases and the whole body, without drugs. The “Avers-Sun” bio-lamp set includes 3 bulbs with monochromatic emitters of blue, green and red spectrum of light, it is designed for non-invasive (percutaneous) impact on the body and replaces the natural light of the sun, which is very important in the conditions of long winters and the prolonged absence of sun in the daytime. The device is intended for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, blood circulation system, support-locomotion system, and diseases, related to metabolic disorders, it can be used both in the hospitals and for personal uses.
The product replaces more than 2000 drugs and has no negative side effects.
Physiotherapeutic device AVERS-Shower "- is a unique device, which combines the therapeutic effects of hydrotherapy and phototherapy (light therapy). Where’s the water is a conductor of light and due to water pressure, light penetration increases by ten times, thereby enhancing the metabolism of the organism, the functions of hemoglobin in delivery the oxygen and carbon dioxide utilization, normalizing blood pressure, blood viscosity decreases without drugs. Photon energy activates vitamin D and ensures the effectiveness of absorption of organic calcium substances coming with food, to prevent and treat metabolic bone diseases. Currently, the device was upgraded, it comes without chemical batteries, as well as green and red spectrum are added, which significantly increases the regulation of the cardiovascular system, blood pressure, metabolism, body temperature, the mobility of biological cells. The combination of light and water contributes to mutual reinforcement of therapeutic properties of each of the natural factors. The product replaces approximately 3000 drugs and has no negative side effects.

It is time to return the traditional preventive medicine to the pedestal and move away from non-traditional, drug treatments and let the use of antibiotics to be considered as a failure of preventive medicine and be equivalent to surgery.
